    The Australia China Scholar Network (ACSN) acts as the premier platform representing the interests of scholars and other people who are comfortable with Chinese settings and are interested in academic-oriented events in the Australia-China space.

背景 Background

     在澳大利亚的高等教育界，大约四分之一的国际学生有中国文化背景，但澳洲社会缺乏专门针对这一文化群体的学术交流平台。该协会旨在弥合这一需求。

    Among the higher education community in Australia, about one-fourth of international students have Chinese background, yet academic communications specifically for this cultural group are lacking. This association aims at bridging this gap.

目的 Purpose

    本协会旨在提供中澳学术主题交流平台，尤其针对博士生及以上从事专业学术研究群体创造交流机会。协会会员申请并无学历、国籍等限制，开放给任何对中澳学术主题感兴趣的人群。

    The association acts as the premier platform representing the interests of scholars and other people who are comfortable with Chinese settings and are interested in academic-oriented events in the Australia-China space.

    协会旨在促进中澳学术界的交流，包括但不限于学者与社会、学者与学者、学者与企业间的联系。

    Enhancing academic communications and collaborations between Australia-China scholars, institutes, industries, and societies.

  The purposes of ACSN are to enhance the connections between:

（1）学者与社会

Scholars and societies

• 加强学者与社会的联系，包括公益讲座、媒体连接、新媒体内容创作等。
• 激发民智，为不同学科和研究领域提供科普活动等。
• To increase the connections of scholars to the broader community by providing training for media engagement, public presentation, and content generation. 
• To inspire people’s wisdom and provide science popularization activities for different disciplines and research.

（2）学者与学者

Scholars and scholars

• 通过学术研讨会、新媒体和微信群等方式，分享论文、基金、项目、合作等学术经验及成果。
• 交流分享学术经验和资源。
• 结交朋友等。
• To increase the visibility of study outcomes in the circle including but not limited to publications, grants, ethics applications, project experiences, and collaboration successes, by way of doctoral symposiums, media posts, and social media chat groups.
• To exchange research experiences and resources
• To make friends.

Scholars and industries

• 推广产学研资源，促进研究成果的转化。
• 分享项目基金、创业政策、就业机会、研究资助等资源。
• 组织企业参访、学科研讨会和研究成果展示等。
• To promote research translations by connecting scholars and industries, and by promoting related resources.
• grants, entrepreneurial policies, job opportunities, sponsored studies,
• organizing industrial visits, disciplinary seminars, and research showcases.
